Inter have joined the race to sign highly-rated Greece and Olympiacos striker Konstantinos Mitroglou.
New Inter president Erick Thohir is thought to be an admirer of the 25-year-old and is willing to pay €10 million to secure his signature.
According to Sportmediaset.it, Nerazzurri scouts watched the Greek striker score a brace in the 3-1 first leg World Cup play-off victory over Romania.
However, the Beneamata face competition to sign the Olympiacos forward with Premier League side Liverpool rumoured to be interested along with several Italian admirers including Lazio and Roma.
Mitroglou joined the current Greece Superleague champions from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2007 and has scored 14 goals in 10 league games so far this season.
