Roma captain Francesco Totti could be back in time for the Giallorossi’s clash against Atalanta at the beginning of December.
The 37-year-old picked up a muscular injury during the Lupi’s 2-0 victory over Napoli in October and has been sidelined since.
With initial reports indicating he was set for a two month layoff, La Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that the Italian is pushing to return in time for the Giallorossi’s match against Atalanta on December 1.
His return would be a welcome addition for the club as they have failed to win their last two matches after starting the season with 10 straight victories.
Totti has three goals in eight Serie A appearances this season.
